What Are We Pouring Out?

These beauties are from my cousin Julie’s garden in northern California. I fell in love with them the moment I saw this photo and I asked her if I could use them for a blog – she graciously agreed. Thank you, Julie!

When I had shown this photo (which I did a lot, in fact, it is the main wallpaper on my phone right now) a very precious friend said to me “doesn’t it look like God’s blessings being poured out?!” … well .. YES, it does!

Remember what Jesus said?  But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”’  Luke 19:40 (NKJV)

Dear ones, if we are not doing the work God has for us; sharing His love, grace, hope and message of forgiveness, restoration and peace, nature itself will declare it louder!

The oceans roar. The birds sing. The trees wave their branches in worship! All are declaring their Maker’s praise . . . ARE WE???

So, next time you are out and about, take time to look around you – fully observe the many marvelous ways in which our Lord’s love and beauty is expressed.

What we pour out from our lives into the lives of others does make a difference! Are your words, your actions, your attitudes filled with the negative? Are you silent about your faith? Or will you be bold in your faith and declare with all of creation?

Hmmm…..Whom can you pour out blessings upon this day? Won’t you join in?
